Best-weather month for your trip
ERA5 climate + local events − hazards · your taste may differ
How is this scored?
The score blends real data: ① climate comfort from ERA5 monthly normals (temperature, rainfall, sun) for cities we have them, else the macro-climate zone; ② a penalty for monsoon, flood, typhoon or jellyfish hazards active that month; ③ a boost for moments and phenomena actually happening there — festivals, rice-gold, lotus, food seasons. Open a cell to see the numbers.
It's one definition of “good” — typical dry, comfortable travel weather. If you'd rather catch the green rice-terrace season, dodge the crowds, or simply don't mind rain, your ideal month may differ. Read the grid and decide for yourself.
