Where is Dam Mon Peninsula?
Dam Mon Peninsula is located in Van Phong Bay, Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province. To reach Dam Mon Peninsula, from Nha Trang City, visitors can travel more than 80km along National Highway 1A to the North (or 45km by sea).
With a natural area of 128km2, Dam Mon Peninsula is highly appreciated and surveyed by the World Tourism Organization. This place has all the natural factors favorable for ecotourism, including climate, coastline, mountains, forests, landscapes, ecological environment, seaports and seafood supply. All of these are almost intact and natural. The sea around Dam Mon Peninsula is still wild and relatively clear, thanks to the system of small islands in the shape of a bow, making the sea quite calm and without big waves.
Explore Dam Mon Peninsula
Come and explore the wild beauty of Dam Mon Peninsula. Here, visitors can enjoy a relaxing space sitting or lying on the sand in any location. In particular, Dam Mon Thuong has high sand dunes, allowing visitors to climb to the top to admire the distant blue sea.

This place also has the special feature of Dang Ha village, belonging to an ethnic minority, although no longer recorded on the map of Vietnam's residential areas, but still exists in Van Phong Bay.
Dam Mon Peninsula includes about 20 large and small islands with 30 beaches, primeval forests and a simple fishing village with three hamlets: Dam Mon Ha, Dam Mon Thuong and Xuan Dung. The sea here attracts visitors with its pristine and clean sandy shores and calm, clear blue water, allowing them to see the seabed. The system of small, crescent-shaped islands surrounding the sea makes this place peaceful, without big waves. In particular, Dam Mon Peninsula is also one of the places to welcome the earliest sunrise. Dam Mon Thuong hamlet of the fishing village has high sand dunes, allowing visitors to climb up to see the deep blue sea in the distance.
Next, visitors can take a boat through Xuan Dung village to enjoy one of the most beautiful and fresh beaches in Nha Trang city. In particular, visitors will discover the wonders of nature, just dig a small hole about 1m deep, a few dozen centimeters from the sea surface, after 20 minutes, you can scoop up cool, clear drops of fresh water by hand. Here, visitors should visit Dang Ha, a village of ethnic minorities. After that, visitors can join a boat expedition through about 20 large and small islands of Dam Mon Peninsula, where there is a beautiful green primeval forest.

The best time to travel to Dam Mon
The best time to visit Dam Mon is from March to August, when the tropical climate creates ideal conditions for memorable experiences here. You can enjoy the crystal clear beaches, pristine white sand and participate in exciting activities.
To get to Dam Mon, visitors can travel by road. The road leading to Dam Mon peninsula is about 18.5km long, starting from the foot of Co Ma pass and stretching along the peninsula. On this road, visitors will admire the beautiful scenery of long, smooth white sand dunes, giving visitors the feeling of walking through a vast desert.
After passing the sand dunes, visitors will continue on the coastal road from Dam Mon to Dai Lanh. The last stop on the road is Dam Mon fishing village - a small, quiet village located on the peninsula. All year round, this village is covered by the green landscape of coconut trees.
Currently, Dam Mon is still a pristine coastal forest area that has not been exploited much, creating a landscape with clear blue sea, cool primeval forest and long sandy beaches. This makes Dam Mon an ideal destination for exciting trips at reasonable costs.
