Backpacking allows travelers to experience the challenge and excitement of overcoming difficulties and exploring less-known places.
iguide.ai would like to introduce to you the reference itinerary for the backpacking trip that is loved by many people in the Hoa grassland, Moc Chau, Vietnam below:
Moc Chau Plateau, located in Van Ho and Moc Chau districts of Son La province, is a place of flowers and fruits all year round, and is considered the "Da Lat of the Northwest." Valleys of pure white plum blossoms, forests of burning mountain peach trees, fields of golden canola flowers stretching to the foot of the hills... attract tourists to the Green Plateau.
With a plum growing area of up to 1,200 hectares, mainly concentrated in Loong Luong and Van Ho communes (Van Ho district), Nong Truong town, Tan Lap and Muong Sang (Moc Chau district), in the first days of 2018, plum blossoms covered the villages and valleys in a pure white color.
This year's plum blossom season coincides with the occasion when Mong people in Moc Chau and Van Ho celebrate their traditional New Year. In the villages of Na Ka, Ba Phach, Chieng Di, Loong Luong... plum blossoms cover the mossy roofs, the flowers bloom on the paths leading to the villages, the flowers decorate the distant fields and nearby fields, blending with the brilliant green and red dresses of Mong women going out to celebrate New Year, creating a beautiful colorful picture of the mountainous region.
Moc Chau Plateau is known by tourists as the "flower capital of the Northwest". Peach blossoms, plum blossoms, pear blossoms, orchids, cymbidiums of all kinds... have taken a lot of effort, paper, pens, and films from artists. With its own unique features, Moc Chau plum trees are very ancient, covered with white moss but still welcome spring with beautiful flowers.
If plum blossoms evoke a pure beauty, peach blossoms remind people of fragility but full of vitality. Compared to previous years, this year the peach blossoms in Moc Chau Plateau bloomed early before Tet.
Wild peach trees are a typical and difficult breed of the Northwest, growing thanks to the nurturing soil in the rocks, thanks to the monsoon dew, but rarely thanks to the meticulous care of humans. Peach blossoms bloom all over the old gray mountain slopes, on both sides of the road, then interspersed in the plum blossom forest to the side of the house... creating a warm color in the steppe.
Around mid-November, when the cold winter winds begin to blow, it is also the time when the mustard flowers enter their blooming season on the Moc Chau grassland. The mustard beds are planted by the Mong and Thai Thong people for seeds and the flowering season lasts for three months, ending around the end of January.
There are many beautiful spots to see canola flowers in Moc Chau, the most famous of which are Ba Phach village, Ang village, Thung Cuong village and Bua village. The beauty of the flower season in each place has its own unmistakable features.
The road leading to Ba Phach village these days is splendidly decorated by the fields of mustard flowers running along both sides of the road. The mustard flowers bloom white all over the area, interspersed with a few bumpy dirt roads and a few scattered houses of the locals. True to its name as the "paradise of mustard flowers" in Moc Chau, Ba Phach village is one of the extremely wonderful photography locations for those who love "virtual living."
