From Quy Nhon, visitors can follow National Highway 1 about 35km to Ngo May town, then turn back to the West about 2km to reach the beautiful Hoi Van hot spring. Like many rivers and streams in the Central region in general, Hoi Van hot spring flows from the West to the East.
2. Natural features of hot springs
Hoi Van hot spring originates from the low mountains in the North of Phu Cat district, the water flows into a lake about 400m² wide, more than 1m deep in Hoi Van village. The bottom of the lake has jagged rocks crowded together. Hot water from there gushes up, emitting smoke, creating an image like a giant pot of boiling water. In the mornings, especially in cold weather, the scenery becomes even more magical because of the rising and accumulating steam.
