Located in the north of Son La province, Quynh Nhai is a place with charming river landscapes and peaceful villages that still preserve many unique cultural features, including Bon village, a small village of the White Thai people in Son La, Vietnam. Bon village belongs to Muong Chien commune, Quynh Nhai district, where the cultural beauty of the indigenous community is almost intact.
Ban Bon Hot Spring is located in Son La province, right in Ban Bon - a place considered as the "door" opening to the culture of the Thai ethnic group. This is a favorite destination because of the series of stilt houses leaning on the mountainside, handmade costumes and rich local cuisine.
The hot mineral spring in Bon village is a stream flowing from a mountain crevice and contains many minerals to treat rheumatism or bone diseases. Coming here, besides relaxing in the bath, visitors will certainly feel excited to immerse themselves in the unique and novel culture of the indigenous people.
Perhaps Ban Bon hot spring is the most difficult hot spring to reach among the current hot springs in Vietnam. The more difficult the journey, the sweeter the result, and the hot spring in Ban Bon is that "sweet fruit". To reach Ban Bon, visitors can travel more than 40km from Quynh Nhai district, or take a cruise from the Pa Uon bridge upstream of the Da River, to the old district center milestone to admire the charming landscape of mountains and rivers.
The hot mineral water of Ban Bon hot spring flows naturally from the mountain stream, without human intervention, and the water temperature is always maintained at 40 - 45 degrees Celsius, very suitable for soaking in to cure diseases, relax and nourish the skin. In addition, the Ban Bon hot spring area also has a waterfall and a cold stream flowing right next to it, creating a diverse experience for visitors when visiting here.
September to April next year is a great time to come and enjoy here. Coming to Quynh Nhai, Son La to travel on the hydroelectric reservoir, visitors should not forget to stop at Bon village to learn more about the customs, unique culture, as well as the friendliness and hospitality of the people in the upper Da River. Thank you for choosing iguide.ai to accompany you on your exciting journey!
