Mat Than Mountain - a mysterious and magical mountain, located in Ban Danh valley, Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province, Vietnam, is attracting a lot of attention from the travel community. It includes tower-shaped and cone-shaped mountain blocks interspersed with dozens of large and small lakes, forming the special Thang Hen lake system.

With such beautiful natural scenery, this place has become a new destination favored by young people recently and has received the name "Tuyet Tinh Coc" - a land of deep mountains and valleys with wonderful scenery.

The pristine natural beauty of Mat Than Mountain has been maintained for many years. September and October are the months when many tourists choose to explore this place because in the dry season, Thang Hen Lake often dries up in a few hours. This creates a poetic and charming natural scene with Nam Tra waterfall.

Mat Than Mountain is about 50km from Cao Bang city, visitors can easily get here by car or motorbike. However, motorbike is the most popular means of transport, because the final road leading to Mat Than Mountain is quite narrow and only for motorbikes to access the deep valley inside.
