2. The best time to conquer Ta Lien mountain
September to May of the following year is the most suitable time for conquerors to trek Ta Lien Son. The reason is that the weather during this period is dry, with little rain, so the road is clear.

3. Details of the journey to the top of Ta Lien Son
3.1. Day 1: Ta Leng - rest house 2500m
14km from Lai Chau city, Ta Leng village is nestled at the foot of Co Trau mountain. From here you will start your trekking trip.
Passing through the green old forests, you can freely check-in with giant tree stumps. There are trees with only hollow stumps left, you can crawl right into them. Interspersed with the green of the primeval forest are the yellow and red colors of the forest changing leaves. Maple leaves gently sway in the wind. Some leaves leave the branches, join in the spinning dance and gently land on the ground. Nature seems to be spreading a welcome carpet for every step of the traveler.
Next to the maple forest is the ancient tea forest. There are tea trees up to 35m high. When the tea flowers bloom, the pure white color like snowflakes makes the scene extremely poetic.
The rhododendron forest signals that you are approaching the camp at an altitude of 2500m. The camp is quite spacious, in an airy place and close to a water source. Here you will enjoy an intimate meal with your group and porters. At night, the space in the camp is still very warm with the sound of music and singing in the middle of the mountains and forests.
3.2. Day 2: Resting hut – Mountain top – Ta Leng
The second day of trekking takes less time, but you have to overcome more slopes. Waking up early in the morning, you should go to the top of Ta Lien Son to see the vast sea of clouds.
