Muong Va ancient tower is an ancient architectural work built in the 17th century, located in Muong Va village, Muong Va commune, Sop Cop district, Son La province, Vietnam. This tower has a unique aesthetic and artistic construction style, placed on an artificially raised hill, about 15m high if compared to the surrounding ground. The special feature of the tower is that it was built in series, without doors, and divided into 4 equal sides, each side facing a direction. Muong Va tower is divided into 5 floors, built of bricks 35cm long, 15cm wide, 6cm thick. Sop Cop Nature Reserve is a special-use forest located in Sop Cop district, Son La province, Vietnam. With an area of 18,709 ha, of which forest land accounts for 67%, this reserve includes three functional sub-zones:
Strictly protected area: Area 5,149 ha, managed to protect rare species of animals and plants.
Ecological restoration zone: Area 13,541 ha, to restore and maintain natural ecosystems.
Administrative service area: Area of 19 hectares, serving tourism management and development.

Saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis): An antelope-like animal that lives in the mountains and forests and is facing extinction.
Large-antlered muntjac (Muntiacus vuquangensis): A special muntjac species, often found in high mountain areas.
Owston's Civet (Chrotogale owstoni): A small civet with distinctive fur.
Crested Argus (Rheinardia ocellata): Beautiful bird with colorful feathers.
Truong Son striped rabbit (Nesolagus timminsi): Endemic rabbit species of the Northwestern mountains.

Vascular Plants: The reserve has recorded 640 species of vascular plants, belonging to 429 genera and 138 families. These plants contribute to the biodiversity of the area.
Edible plants: Of the 114 recorded species, 81 are wild and 43 are cultivated. Vegetables are the most diverse with 52 species, followed by fruit trees with 39 species and spices with 21 species.
